UOL and our property subsidiary SingLand scooped up several accolades at the SIAS Investors’ Choice Awards 2022, which was organised by Securities Investors Association (Singapore), or SIAS, on 7 October 2022.

UOL emerged as Winner for the Most Transparent Company Award (MTCA) in Real Estate, while SingLand took the Runner-Up spot in the same category. UOL also clinched the Runner-Up title for the Shareholder Communications Excellence Award (Big Cap). Last year, UOL was named Runner-Up for MTCA.

The Investors’ Choice Awards recognises excellence in companies and individuals adopting good corporate governance and sustainability practices. SIAS partners NUS Business School’s Centre for Governance and Sustainability annually to rate the best performing listed companies in governance and transparency for the benefit of investors.

The prestigious awards are a testament to UOL’s high standard of corporate governance and commitment to a proactive communication with shareholders. UOL focuses on fostering trust and safeguarding the interests of our shareholders while building transparency and accountability that are important to our business practices.

Group Chief Executive Liam Wee Sin and Chief Financial Officer Kwa Bing Seng attended the presentation ceremony to receive the awards. The event was graced by Mr Alvin Tan, Minister of State for Ministry of Culture, Community and Youth & Ministry of Trade and Industry.
